High school softball rankings: Leander continues to rise up the MaxPreps Top 25

Florida's Sickles, Texas' Lake Creek join rankings behind hot starts.

Leander (Texas) continues to climb up the MaxPreps Top 25 high school softball rankings behind the bat of Baylea Brandon. The LUS commit has hit 10 home runs and is batting .514 in 56 at bats this spring as the Lions jump to No. 2 this week.

Tampa-based Sickles join the MaxPreps Top 25 after an impressive 6-0 start to the season. Junior Robyn Herron has 65 striekouts in 28 innings pitched.

Lake Creek (Montgomery, Texas) is also newcomer to the rankings this week as the Lions are 15-0 and hitting .409 as a team with 16 total home runs.

Action continues to heat up as several ranked teams begin their 2021 seasons.
