It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grantsville had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Payten Bytheway made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Grantsville got a big performance out of Eden Ressel, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was SaDee Castagno, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Grantsville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .696. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Judge Memorial Catholic only posted an OBP of .100.

Grantsville is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Grantsville nor Judge Memorial Catholic have any future games scheduled.
