Baseball Game Preview: Lodi Flames vs. West Wolfpack

For the second straight game, Lodi will face off against West. Lodi will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against West at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lodi has three straight victories, West has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, Lodi beat West 7-3.

Landon Beasley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on eight hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Rylan Takahashi was incredible, scoring a run and stealing five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Santino Ramirez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Lodi's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1.
