Basketball Recap: Washburn Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Washburn Millers came up short against the Chanhassen Storm and fell 81-70. The Millers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washburn now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Chanhassen, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Washburn won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chanhassen and Apple Valley will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Chanhassen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
