New Bremen had won 17 straight home games dating back to last season and Charlotte Nelson did her part to make it 18 on Thursday. Everything went the Cardinals' way against the Marion Local Flyers as they made off with a 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Nelson, who had six digs and two aces. She has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last six times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-16.

New Bremen's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Marion Local, they moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
