Basketball Recap: Easton Hawkins Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Weber

It's playoff time, and Lehi had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Weber Warriors 73-48 on Friday. 73 seems to be a good number for the Pioneers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Lehi's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Easton Hawkins, who posted 19 points. Hawkins' evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ashton Shewell, who put up 19 points.

The win made it two in a row for Lehi and bumps their season record up to 14-9. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24 points. As for Weber, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

Coming up, Lehi will face off against Herriman at 11:10 a.m. on Monday. Herriman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Lehi likes a good challenge. Weber does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
