Football Recap: Greene County Tigers vs. Isabella Mustangs
A victory for Greene County just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They came up short against the Isabella Mustangs, falling 52-32. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ronald Wilder Jr. and Kelvies Snoddy certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wilder Jr. rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while Snoddy rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns. Wilder Jr. also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks and making 13 total tackles.
Even though they lost, Greene County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 262 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 163 rushing yards in ten consecutive matches dating back to last season.
