Volleyball Recap: North Central Eagles vs. Hilltop Cadets
North Central was the 3-2 winner over Hilltop when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Cadets by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
North Central took Hilltop into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 12-25, 23-25, 15-10.

Despite the defeat, North Central saw an underclassman step up: freshman Maycee Walker had 25 digs and two aces. Walker has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last ten times she's played.
Brooklyn Kuszmaul was a one-woman wrecking crew For Hilltop. as she had 27 digs and four aces. That's the most digs Kuszmaul has posted since back in September.
North Central now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Hilltop, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
