It was fun while it lasted, but Marietta's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Saturday. They were dealt a 73-32 loss at the hands of the Plainview Indians. The contest marked Marietta's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marietta fell to 5-1. As for Plainview, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Marietta will head out to square off against Calera at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plainview and Pauls Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
