Volleyball Recap: Adrian Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Adrian hadn't done well against Pleasant Hill recently (they were 0-7-1 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Blackhawks had just enough and edged out the Roosters/Chicks 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Blackhawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Olivia Engeman paced Adrian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Engeman got some help from Grace Engeman and her 30 assists. Grace was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Adrian's victory bumped their record up to 17-6-1. As for Pleasant Hill, they now have a losing record of 12-13-2.

Adrian has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Warrensburg on the 4th. As for Pleasant Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Clinton on the 4th.
