Basketball Game Preview: Lafayette Rams vs. Jamestown Eagles

The Lafayette Rams will venture away from home to take on the Jamestown Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Lafayette came up short against Smithfield and fell 66-59.

Meanwhile, Jamestown put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 58-47 victory over Tabb. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Jamestown pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lafayette, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Lafayette didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Jamestown when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 68-63 victory.
