Softball Game Preview: Ferris Yellowjackets vs. Alvarado Indians

Ferris hasn't had much luck against Alvarado recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Ferris will look to defend their home field against Alvarado at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ferris is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Godley on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-1.

Ferris saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landri Davis, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Alvarado lost 13-6 to Kennedale on Friday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 9-9-2. As for Alvarado, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
