Basketball Game Preview: Delta Eagles vs. Maconaquah Braves

Delta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They strolled past Yorktown with points to spare, taking the game 61-44. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jillian Barr was her usual excellent self, going 13 for 19 en route to 31 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Those 31 points gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Olivia Marshall, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Maconaquah entered their tilt with Peru on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 60-50.

Maconaquah's win came from a few key players Delta will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ireland Kile, who earned 17 points and six boards. Emily Bryant also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Delta's record now sits at 17-7. As for Maconaquah, their record is now 16-8.
