Softball Recap: Burbank Titans vs. Florin Panthers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Johnson, Burbank was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over the Florin Panthers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
ANDREA CERVANTES made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. CERVANTES was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
