Basketball Recap: Moon Area Has No Trouble Against Imani Christian Academy

Moon Area had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Imani Christian Academy Saints with a sharp 70-46 victory. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 74-54 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Imani Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Donovan Gordon, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nahjir Norris, who posted five points.

Moon Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-38 win against Penn Hills on the 5th. As for Imani Christian Academy, they will take on KIPP DC Legacy College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
