Whitley County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Jackson County Generals with points to spare, taking the game 75-59. This was payback for the Colonels, who suffered a 45-44 loss the last time these two teams met.

Whitley County pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Jackson County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Whitley County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-59 defeat against Marion County on the 14th. As for Jackson County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Oneida Baptist Institute at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Oneida Baptist Institute likes a good challenge.
