Volleyball Recap: West Elk Takes a Loss

West Elk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Iola Mustangs.

West Elk may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 16 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16.

West Elk's loss dropped their record down to 4-19-1. As for Iola, with the win, they broke their six-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-12.

Coming up, West Elk will be playing in front of their home fans against Caldwell on Tuesday. As for Iola, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against McLouth on the 27th.
