Baseball Recap: Cedar Ridge Takes a Loss

Cedar Ridge and Lake Travis squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Cedar Ridge had to settle for second. They lost 13-3 to the Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Thursday.

Cedar Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 21-10-1. As for Lake Travis, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9-3 record this season.

While Cedar Ridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
