Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Santa Fe Christian can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Del Norte Nighthawks on Wednesday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Del Norte scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-23.

Del Norte found their leader in sophomore Evan Foundos, who had 16 assists and two aces. Foundos is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 16 or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Santa Fe Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Del Norte, their record is now 20-18.

Santa Fe Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Del Norte, they will face off against Eastlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
