Softball Recap: Fishers Falls Short Against Ranked Daviess County

Fishers is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Daviess County. The Tigers lost 11-0 to the Panthers. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Fishers saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Clayton, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Fishers' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Daviess County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Fishers has already played their next game, an 11-5 victory against Brownsburg on the 12th. As for Daviess County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-1 win against Crown Point on the 12th.
