Basketball Recap: Morgan Falls Despite Big Games from Luke Coleman and Tavian Myers

On Saturday, the Morgan Raiders were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-48 to the Waterford Wildcats. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morgan's loss came despite strong showings from Tavian Myers and Luke Coleman. Myers posted 16 points and six rebounds, while Coleman earned ten points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brylee Shannon, who had seven points and eight rebounds.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Waterford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Morgan will host Shenandoah at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Waterford, they will head out to face off against Alexander at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
