Softball Recap: Dinuba Beats Washington Union for Their Fourth Straight Win

Dinuba entered their tilt with Washington Union on Wednesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Washington Union Panthers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Emperors, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Maranda Requejo made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Ashlee Orozco was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Kiley Gomez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
