Basketball Recap: Southridge Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Southridge won against Northeast Dubois last Tuesday with 40 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Southridge Raiders strolled past the South Spencer Rebels with points to spare, taking the game 40-26. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Rebels are ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southridge is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for South Spencer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Southridge will challenge Wood Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Spencer, they will face off against Boonville at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. South Spencer is facing Boonville at the right time seeing as Boonville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
