Baseball Recap: Hannah-Pamplico Gets the Win

Hannah-Pamplico never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Lake City Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2018.

Payton Farmer tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mason Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Kolby Hyman also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Hannah-Pamplico's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Lake City, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hannah-Pamplico will challenge Latta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake City, they will welcome Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
