Basketball Recap: Peyton's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Peyton needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Michael Perry. The Peyton Panthers strolled past the Limon Badgers with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 43-29 thanks in part to Perry, who posted 15 points and five assists. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Peyton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Limon, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Peyton will take on SkyView Academy in a tournament on Thursday. As for Limon, they are taking a road trip to square off against Yuma at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. One thing working in Yuma's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
