The home team had won the previous four meetings between Homestead and Los Gatos, and Homestead kept the tradition alive. The Mustangs blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Homestead never let Los Gatos on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 27-25, 25-21.

Leading Homestead to victory were Selina Wang and Natalie Chen. Wang had five digs and three aces, while Chen had 19 digs and eight assists. Chen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Homestead has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for Los Gatos, they dropped their record down to 12-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
