Softball Recap: Valley Christian Academy Falls to Bishop Diego in First Game of Season

Valley Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 16-0 to the Bishop Diego Cardinals on Monday. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 14-0 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Valley Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bishop Diego at 3:30 p.m. on March 20th. As for Bishop Diego, they will challenge Santa Clara at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Diego is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.8 runs per game this season.
