Baseball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Hall Red Devils, falling 10-4. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Princeton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Lott, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Lott is becoming a predictor of the Tigers' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 6-8-1 when he doesn't).

Princeton's record now sits at 9-9-1. As for Hall, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Hall will challenge Riverdale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton will be paying especially close attention to the Red Devils' matchup: after the Red Devils face off against the Rams, they'll take on Princeton again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
