Basketball Recap: Northfield Beats New Prague for Their Third Straight Win

Northfield hadn't done well against New Prague recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 62-38 victory. The Raiders' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Among those leading the charge was Grace Mostad, who posted 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Callie Lynch was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and four steals.

Northfield's record now sits at 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northfield will challenge Mankato East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Prague, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fargo Davies at 12:00 p.m. on the 27th.
