Softball Recap: Shea Raiders vs. Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties        
        
		
            
 Shea lost a close one when they played  on Wednesday but unfortunately for them the  defeat they were handed  on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They lost  18-8 to the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties. Shea has not had much luck with Mount St. Charles Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
  Aniya Rua made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with two  triples, five  RBI,  and three  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Laurel Christian, who  went 4-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Even though they lost, Shea  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Shea's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-1-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shea will  challenge Davies Career & Tech at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Shea is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6  runs per game  this season. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Cranston East at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Cranston East will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something Mount St. Charles Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
