While Choctaw Central's  win against Northeast Lauderdale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight  contest that could have gone either way, the Warriors made off with  a  21-20 victory over the Trojans.
 Tyris Stokes threw for 107 yards  on seven of 12 attempts.   Shade Thompson was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards.
 Despite the loss, Northeast Lauderdale still got an impressive performance from   Brandon Wilson, who rushed for 121 yards on only 13 carries. Wilson's longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Choctaw Central's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Northeast Lauderdale,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matchups. Choctaw Central will square off against Newton County at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they will take on Quitman at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
