Volleyball Recap: Aurora Victorious

The Aurora Houn Dawgs earned a 3-1 win over the 417 M Mavericks on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Houn Dawgs.

Aurora had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-17.

Kylee Phelps paced Aurora's offense, picking up 20 kills. Phelps got some help from Miley Feringa and her 33 assists. Feringa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Aurora's victory bumped their record up to 3-19. As for 417 M, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Aurora has already played their next matchup (against Mt. Vernon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. 417 M does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
