Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Rancho Cotate was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell 6-1 to Windsor. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rancho Cotate's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Maria Carrillo, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
