Soccer Game Preview: Smyrna vs. Cookeville

Smyrna's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Stewarts Creek. The win made it back-to-back victories for Smyrna.

Meanwhile, Cookeville hasn't lost a match since March 18th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against LaVergne as they made off with a 4-1 win. That's two games straight that Cookeville have won by exactly three goals.

Cookeville pushed their record up to 14-1-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those seven matches. As for Smyrna, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-2.
