Softball Preview: Cherokee Bluff Bears vs. Jefferson Dragons
The Cherokee Bluff Bears will stay at home for another game and welcome the Jefferson Dragons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Cherokee Bluff's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over West Hall.
Bailey Greason looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts.
On the hitting side, Claire Carlson was incredible, going 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Herren, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
