Football Preview: North Forsyth Raiders vs. South Forsyth War Eagles
North Forsyth is 1-7 against South Forsyth since September of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. After each having a week off, both will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
North Forsyth took a loss when they played away from home back in August, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They came out on top against Lanier by a score of 33-20. The Raiders pushed the score to 26-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Longhorns cut but never quite recovered from.
Darron Parry had a dynamite game for North Forsyth, rushing for 101 yards and four touchdowns.
Parry wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: North Forsyth was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.

Thankfully for North Forsyth, Ty Watkins (who threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
