There's no place like home for Beauregard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pike Road Patriots a 13-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

The victory snapped Beauregard's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-9 record. As for Pike Road, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-21.

Coming up, Beauregard will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Dadeville at 5:00 p.m. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.47 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pike Road, they will square off against Oak Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
