The Meyersdale Red Raiders will take on the Northern Garrett Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Meyersdale sitting on three straight victories and Northern Garrett on four.
Meyersdale's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Southern by a score of 5-0.

Dylan Teets made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, earning two RBI and one run.
Teets wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cole Yoder, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Meanwhile, Northern Garrett got the win against Southern on Thursday by a conclusive 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Robert Deatelhauser looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jake Chambers, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Wally Brands was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Northern Garrett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive contests.
Northern Garrett's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Meyersdale, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Meyersdale has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Northern Garrett struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Meyersdale came up short against Northern Garrett in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 7-2. Will the Red Raiders have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
