Chillicothe had won two straight games and Jaishon White did his part to make it three on Friday. The Chillicothe Hornets walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Lafayette Fighting Irish thanks to White, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 boards. He has become a key player for Chillicothe: the team is 13-4 when he posts at least eight rebounds, but 1-4 otherwise.

Ashton Baker was another key player, putting up five points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 100% in the last three games he's played.

Chillicothe's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Lafayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chillicothe will take on Kirksville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lafayette, they are taking a road trip to take on Savannah at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
