Basketball Recap: Harding Starts off Right with Win over Norwalk

Harding had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 73-66 victory over the Norwalk Bears on Thursday. The Presidents have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Andre Taylor had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 boards. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Denim Bernal, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and four steals.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harding will venture away from home to challenge Darien at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Norwalk, they will head out to square off against Bullard-Havens at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
