Glenwood Springs lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Rifle, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's contest. The Demons were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Bears on Wednesday. Considering the Demons have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Josh Doll was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Travis Wagner was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Glenwood Springs hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rifle struck out 11 times.

Glenwood Springs pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Rifle, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 8-5.
