Flag Football Recap: Woodville-Tompkins Comes Up Short

Woodville-Tompkins lost against New Hampstead back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolverines were just a hair shy of victory and fell 7-6 to the Phoenix.

Woodville-Tompkins' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for New Hampstead, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Woodville-Tompkins will square off against Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Hampstead, they will face off against Islands at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Phoenix 9.4, the Sharks 11.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
