Volleyball Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss

Lincoln County managed to slip by Chapmanville Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Lincoln County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kinley Mullins had four digs and four aces.

Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Chapmanville Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will venture away from home to face off against Ignite Athletics at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chapmanville Regional, they will head out to take on St. Albans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
