Football Game Preview: Community Christian Knights vs. New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders + Official Tickets

The Community Christian Knights will face off against the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Community Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: St. Francis, who was ranked 16th at the time (Community Christian was ranked ninth). Community Christian managed a 33-28 win over St. Francis on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Community Christian.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Isaiah Lee and Eli Pawlish. Lee had a great game and rushed for 283 yards and four TDs while picking up 14.2 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Pawlish was balling out in the loss, rushing for 63 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries, while also throwing for 101 yards and one touchdown on only nine passes.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Creation Christian Academy). They blew past Kings Way Christian School 47-6 on Friday. The result was nothing new for New Creation Christian Academy, who have now won five games by 22 points or more so far this season.

New Creation Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Community Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Community Christian took their victory against New Creation Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 40-14 score. In that matchup, the Knights amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
