Softball Recap: Mayde Creek Takes a Loss

Mayde Creek lost against Jordan back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mayde Creek Rams fell just short of the Jordan Warriors by a score of 5-4. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexia Ruiz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).

Mayde Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Jordan, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Coming up, Mayde Creek will be playing at home against Paetow at 6:15 p.m. on February 25th. As for Jordan, they will take on Memorial in a tournament on Thursday. Memorial is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.
