North Posey hadn't done well against Forest Park recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The North Posey Vikings walked away with a 44-37 victory over the Forest Park Rangers. The win was familiar territory for the Vikings who have now won five games in a row.

Alyssa Heath was her usual excellent self, putting up 14 points along with seven boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Weatherholt, who posted six points and six rebounds.

North Posey smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

North Posey has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Forest Park, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
