Redmond extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Sofia Locati. The Redmond Mustangs breezed past the Hazen Highlanders to the tune of 59-31 on Thursday thanks in part to Locati, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 15 boards. The game was her third in a row with at least 19 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Iha Kasam, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 17 points and five rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last 11 games she's played.

Redmond's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Hazen, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Redmond has already played their next contest, a 62-52 loss against Lake Washington on the 8th. As for Hazen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-37 defeat against Juanita on the 11th.
