Volleyball Recap: Leland Comes Up Short

Leland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Woodland Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Leland ultimately came up short, they really made Woodland work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 28-26.

Leland's record is now 9-8. As for Woodland, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Coming up, Leland will welcome Earlville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodland, they will venture away from home to take on Seneca at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
