Softball Recap: Community Christian Starts off Right with Win over Fulton County

Community Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fulton County Pilots a 21-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Pilots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

This is the second loss in a row for Fulton County and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Community Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McCracken County at 6:00 p.m. on April 21. As for Fulton County, they will challenge Lake County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.67 runs per game on average), something Fulton County will no doubt try to take advantage of.
