Basketball Recap: Lawrence Free State Comes Up Short

Lawrence Free State lost to Lawrence back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Firebirds were beaten by the Lions 63-28. The Firebirds just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Lawrence Free State's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Lawrence, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10.
